With over 3 million of you in the UK a vegetarian, the meat-free market has reached dizzying heights. An estimated £949 million was made by the vegetarian food market in the previous year. Pret A Manger sold 5M avocados last year and reportedly enjoyed a 13% rise in sales, since jazzing up their veggie options.
It’s not just national food chains that are embracing the veggie.
To celebrate National Vegetarian Week, our presenter Jack Fallon went to Stroud to try a cooking class run by the Natural Cookery School, who specialise in cooking creative culinary using vegetarian and natural ingredients.
